Does the Board of Directors receive monetary compensation for their efforts?
No, the Board of Directors does not receive any revenue whatsoever from the Foundation. Each of the board members donates his or her time and money every year, in addition to securing thousands of dollars in funds. Also, the board members pay for their own airfare when they travel to the Dominican Republic for FUPAC events.

How did the Foundation for Community Assistance start?

How many people receive aid from the Foundation?
To date, the Foundation for Community Assistance is providing food, shelter and medicine on a monthly basis to over 350 families, but we are raising our standards. Our goal is to have our services benefit 500+ families!

Is my donation to FUPAC tax deductible?
All donations to the Foundation are 100% tax deductible.

Where does my money go?
Currently, the Foundation is focused on providing funds to address direct needs and financing innovative programs for the low-income communities of San Jose de las Matas, Janico, and Juncalito in the Dominican Republic.

The Foundation for Community Assistance is based in New York.

Where is the Foundation currently working?
FUPAC was founded in order to help ameliorate the living conditions specifically of Dominican nationals in the Dominican Republic and Dominican Americans living in the United States. We are currently workin g in the low-income communities of New York, and San José de las Matas, Jánico, and Juncalito in the Dominican Republic. We have also established a worldwide disaster relief fund.
